1

Send us your list

Text a photo of it, or type it into the booking form. The back of an envelope is fine.

2

Jess sends a time and a price

She replies the same business day with how long the list should take, and whether it's an hourly visit, a half day or a full day.

3

We text when we're close

Your handyman texts when they're 20 minutes out, with their name and photo, and brings the tools and the parts.

4

Everything gets checked off

Before we leave we walk the list with you and sweep up. You get it back with a photo of every job, and pay by card from your phone.

Walt, Jess and three more of us.

Walt Greer spent 28 years as a union carpenter on jobs downtown. When he retired, the neighbors in Clintonville kept calling with their lists, so in 2014 he started taking them for real. His daughter Jess joined in 2017. She runs the schedule, answers the texts and does the finish carpentry.

Every handyman we send is on our own payroll, background-checked before they start, and insured. We never send a subcontractor.

Dana, Clintonville

“My mom lives in Bexley and I live in Denver. Jess texts me the list back with a photo of every job, and that's why we keep calling them.”

Marcus, Bexley

Is there a minimum?

Yes, the first hour: $95. Most people fill it by adding a few small jobs to the list. After that we bill in 15-minute steps at $75 an hour.

Do you bring the parts?

We bring the tools and the common hardware. For anything else, use your own, or we pick it up on the way at cost, with the receipt on your invoice.

Are your handymen background-checked and insured?

Every one. They're on our own payroll, background-checked before they start, and covered by our liability insurance. We never send a subcontractor.

Can you do electrical and plumbing?

Like-for-like swaps, yes: faucets, toilets, disposals, light fixtures and ceiling fans. New circuits, gas lines and moving pipes need a licensed electrician or plumber, and we'll tell you so.

What if the list takes longer than you said?

We call you before we go past the time we quoted, and you decide what waits for next time. On a half or full day, the price is fixed for the list we agreed.

Send us your list.

Pick a day and an arrival time, tell us what's on the list, and Jess confirms by text the same business day.
